How to utilize solar potential

In an age where traditional methods of energy generation, such as burning coal and gas to generate electricity emit greenhouse gases, the energy transition movement has seen the need to investigate alternative or renewable energies. Wind and solar seem to be favored forms of alternative energies to be scaled up first. Solar energy is any form of energy that is harnessed directly from the sun’s rays. It captures electromagnetic radiation from the sun and its conversion into usable energy, in the form of heat or electricity but where can this solar energy be best harnessed? You would think it would as be simple as building a solar park in an area of highest solar performance. The map (Fig. 1)
