Worley Wins FEED Contract for Rodeo Renewed Project

Worley of Australia recently announced that it had been awarded a front-end engineering services contract by Phillips 66 for its planned conversion of its long running San Francisco refinery in Rodeo, California into a renewable fuels facility. The Rodeo Renewed project began to take shape last year for the reconfiguration of the 120,000 barrel per day San Francisco refinery into a facility capable of 650 million gallons annually of renewable fuels. Feedstock is expected to come from used cooking oils, fats, and vegetable oils and Phillips 66 is anticipating a startup in 2024.
