Maire Tecnimont wins EPC Contract for Aniline Plant in Belgium

This project is being envisioned to add considerable aniline production capacity to the existing Covestro site at Antwerp by 2024. This plant will be added to the existing Covestro site in Antwerp, which is already the company’s hub for aniline output due to its access to the raw feedstock required for this production. This contract has an approximate value of $341 million USD and will be executed on a lump sum basis.  Aniline is a key early component of several chemical products such as methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, which is often used in insulation and refrigeration applications.
