USA BioEnergy to Construct Biorefinery in Texas

USA BioEnergy of Arizona recently announced that its subsidiary, Texas Renewable Fuels, is indeed developing a new biorefinery to located in the unincorporated area of Bon Weir, Texas. This announcement was made with Texas Governor Greg Abbott for this project.

This $1.7 billion USD biorefinery is being designed to convert one million tons of wood waste annually into 34 million gallons per year of renewable fuels such as sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, and renewable naphtha. This capacity is expected to reach this initial capacity in 2025, and US BioEnergy plans to double the plant’s production capacity to 68 million gallons annually through unspecified future phases.
