ENCAVIS is already completing the second major Spanish project to the power grid on time.

The SDAX-listed wind and solar park operator Encavis AG, fed yesterday the first kilowatt hours (KWh) from the largest solar park in the group's portfolio "Talayuela" into the Spanish high-voltage network.

ENCAVIS AG once again proved the reliability of its growth strategy with the timely completion of the major "Talayuela" project with a generation capacity of around 300 megawatts (MWp). Following the equally successful grid connection of the major project "La Cabrera" with a generation capacity of around 200 MWp in November of last year, Spain, with a generation capacity of around 500 MW, has taken the position of the front runner within the ENCAVIS Group's solar park portfolio.

"In future, as in Spain, in many other European countries, we will benefit greatly from the growing market for long-term private-sector power purchase agreements - the so-called PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements)," explained Dr. Dierk Paskert, CEO of Encavis AG, on the location decision for Spain made years ago.

"From the two Spanish solar parks alone, we are generating additional subsidy-free sales of more than 36 million euros and an additional EBITDA of more than 27 million euros in the current year", affirmed Dr. Christoph Husmann, CFO of Encavis AG, once again gives the outlook for the 2021 financial year that has just started
