ADNOC Pushes Forward with Fujairah LNG Export Terminal

McDermott International recently announced that it will be the design contractor for the upcoming Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (ADNOC) owned LNG export terminal currently under development in the port of Fujairah, UAE.

This new LNG terminal will consist of twin 4.8 MMtpy trains intended for export to the global market, which has continued to grow in natural gas demand.  In a social media statement, McDermott stated that “We are proud to continue our long history with ADNOC LNG by playing an important role in helping to define the next phase of LNG development in the UAE.”  With this contract in place, the next move for ADNOC would be the awarding of an EPC contract during 2023.
