Wood Wins EPC Contract for Renewable Diesel Expansion in Louisiana

Wood PLC announced in early November that it had won an engineering, procurement, and construction management services contract with Renewable Energy Group of Iowa for its upcoming renewable diesel expansion project in Geismar, Louisiana.  This expansion project will take the current production capacity from 90 million gallons per year to 340 million gallons per year in 2024.

Renewable Energy Group broke ground for this venture this past October and the addition of Wood’s services will keep development for the expansion moving while also improving operational reliability and related upgrades. No cost figures were given with the announcement at this time.
