PT Pertamina International chooses Topsoe technology at Cilacap facility in Indonesia

Topsoe, a global leader in developing solutions for a decarbonized world, has been selected by PT KPI as a technology licensor to provide its HydroFlex™ technology for the production of renewable fuels at the Cilacap Refinery Complex in Central Java, Indonesia. Once complete, the grassroot unit will use Topsoe’s technology to convert bio-feedstock into SAF and renewable diesel, with plans to produce 6,000 bpsd.

INPEX submits revised plan of development for Abadi LNG project, Masela Block, Indonesia

TOKYO, JAPAN - INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) today announced that through its subsidiary INPEX Masela, Ltd., it has submitted a revised Plan of Development (POD) for Abadi LNG Project (hereinafter “Project”) incorporating a carbon capture and storage (CCS) component to Indonesian government authorities (hereinafter “authorities”) on behalf of the joint venture composed of INPEX and Shell.

HDF Energy and TRIPATRA sign an MoU to implement HyPower hydrogen-to-power projects in Indonesia

PT Tripatra Engineering (TRIPATRA), one of the leading Indonesian engineering-based solutions providers in the energy and downstream sectors, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT HDF Energy Indonesia, the Indonesian subsidiary of hydrogen power plant pioneer HDF Energy. The objective of this MoU is to cooperate on the development of HyPower hydrogen-to-power infrastructures, contributing to the decarbonization of the chemical industry sector in Indonesia. The MoU signing was announced during the Tripatra Energy Talk event on March 21, 2023 in Jakarta, attended by invited ministries, state-owned enterprises and private entities.

Commencement of PoC for Green Hydrogen Production, Transportation and Utilization in Australia and Indonesia

Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter, “Marubeni”) will start production of economical green hydrogen (hereinafter, “green hydrogen”) in South Australia (hereinafter, “SA”), transportation of hydrogen by metal hydride tanks to Indonesia and utilization of hydrogen through fuel cells (hereinafter, the “PoC” or Proof of Concept). The PoC has been adopted under the Japanese Ministry of the Environment’s “Financing Programme for Joint Crediting Mechanism Model Projects (hereinafter, “JCM”) in FY2021".
