Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the Norwegian Ambassador to Cairo, Hilde Klimtsdal, witnessed the signing of a joint agreement between the Egyptian Petrochemical Holding Company, Mopco and the Norwegian Skatek Company for joint cooperation in the field of implementing green projects that include the production of green ammonia from green hydrogen.

Energie 360° and TES enter into partnership to supply green energy to industry
Zurich-based energy provider Energie 360° aims to supply its customers exclusively with renewable energy by 2040. TES is a global green hydrogen company that aims to achieve a net-zero emissions future by decarbonizing the energy supply chain. Both companies aim to support each other in achieving their goals: TES aims to supply Energie 360° with around one terawatt hour (TWh) of eNG (renewable synthetic methane) annually from 2027. Energie 360°, in return, wants to supply renewable CO2 to TES. To this end, the two companies have signed a letter of intent.

Gasunie to develop international hydrogen network in German North Sea
Gasunie intends to realise a hydrogen network in the German part of the North Sea. This German hydrogen network plays an important role in the large-scale import of hydrogen from Norway and the increasing supply of green hydrogen from future wind farms in the North Sea. The German offshore network will be connected to the Dutch offshore network, providing cross border options to import and eventually even export hydrogen through the Dutch offshore network. To develop the offshore hydrogen network, the company has now applied to the European Commission for Project of Common Interest (PCI) status.
